When he is not in movies or TV shows, he is on reality shows like “Sundari Eeyum Sundharan Njanum.” Famous actors and actresses compete in dance and music-related challenges on the show mentioned above. Ranjith’s acting career began in 1993 with the movie Pon Vilangu, in which he starred with Rahman, Sivaranjani, and Ramya Krishnan. He had just finished a K. S. Rajkumar, with music by R. K. Selvamani. “Ranjith shines in his first performance, even though he is very big,” K. Vijayan of the New Straits Times liked what Ranjith did on stage. The next year, he was in the drama Sindhu Nathi Poo, which was set in a village.
1996 was the year that both Minor Mappillai and Avathara Purushan, in which he had a supporting role, came out. 1997 was a good year for him financially and critically, and he had a small role in Cheran’s Bharathi Kannamma. In the 1998 movie Maru Malarchi, Ranjith played a role opposite Mammootty. The movie was praised by critics. He won the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Villain for his role as a bad guy. Then he started getting so many job and business proposal offers that he couldn’t keep up. In 1998, he was best known for his parts in the hit movie Natpukkaga and the bad guy Dharma. Desiya Geetham and Pudhumai Pithan, both movies that came out at the end of 1998, gave him small parts. Cheran Chozhan Pandian, a low-budget movie, gave him the main role.
Between 1999 and 2001, the only major roles he played were in Nesam Pudhusu (1999) and Kann Thirandhu Paaramma (2000). Between 1999 and 2001, he mostly played supporting characters and bad guys.
