Rahul Raj Education
He went to school at the Bhavans Vidya Mandir in Elamakkara, Cochin. At the young age of six, he began to study the Mridangam, a South Indian percussion instrument, and Carnatic music. Before he moved to London, he worked as an IT Engineer in Bangalore and Cochin, where he got his CCNP and CCIE certifications. During his time in London, he studied E.S.P., which stands for “Electronic Sound Production.”
Rahul Raj Early Life
Rahul Raj was born on March 17, 1978, to lawyers E. Thankappan and N. S. Kunjoonjamma in Kochi. Rehna Raj is the name of his sister. He worked with an Indian businessman living in the UK named Pradeep Menon to change a Tamil Ayappa single from 1985 that Menon and Shashi Kumar had produced, written, and played. The UK, Canada, and India devotional CD is called Sabari Beats. In November 2002, the Super recording company in Tamil Nadu put it out. Some of the well-known musicians who were shown off were Pravin Mani, Saroja, and Kamalakar. After this, Rahul Raj’s career took off. He also worked with drummer Sivamani and British composer James Asher to put together the arrangement for Pradeep Menon’s song “Krishna Krishna.”

Rahul decided to become a music producer after helping to make a remix of a well-known devotional song about Ayappa. The song was written by Pradeep Menon in 1985. It was changed and put on an album called Sabari Beats, which came out in India, the UK, and Canada. On the 2002 album, you could hear the voices of artists like Pravin Mani, “Kamalakar,” and “Saroja.”
When he went back to India, he was hired right away to write music for more than a hundred commercials. He has written in several languages and made music for big TV networks like Amrita TV and Asianet TV. His first movie was Anwar Rasheed’s Chotta Mumbai, which also starred singer Shankar Mahadevan.
Since then, he has been in many Malayalam movies, such as Time, Annan Thambi, Maya Bazaar, Crazy Gopalan, Bachelor Party, Kili Poyi, Kohinoor, Ritu, and many more. Some of the awards he has won are the Kerala State Film Award and the Vayalar Movie Award.
