Mammootty Wiki and Biography: Muhammad Kutty Panaparambil Ismail (IPA: [muhmd kui pnprmbil ismjl]; born September 7, 1951) is an Indian actor and film producer, best known for his work in Malayalam films. He is commonly referred to by the nickname Mammootty. He has also acted in movies that were made in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi. A career spanning 50 years, he has racked up more than 400 film roles.
He has won numerous awards, including thirteen Filmfare Awards South, seven Kerala State Film Awards, and three National Film Awards. His contributions to Indian cinema earned him the Padma Shri award from the Indian government in 1998. When Mammootty first hit the big screen, it was in the 1971 Malayalam film Anubhavangal Paalichakal.

Mammootty Education
He graduated from the Kulasekharamangalam, Kottayam Government High School. He attended Government School in Ernakulam after his father uprooted the family there when he was young. He fulfilled all of the necessary requirements at Sacred Heart College, and he ultimately graduated. His alma mater was Maharaja’s College, located in the city of Ernakulam. His Bachelor of Laws (LL.B. government law college in Ernakulam. For two years, he practised law in Manjeri.
Mammootty Early Life
Mammootty was born on September 7th, 1951, in Chandiroor. He grew up in the prosperous Muslim town of Chempu, near the city of Vaikom in the Kottayam region of the present-day Indian state of Kerala. Ismail’s father worked as a rice farmer and also owned a clothing wholesale company. Fatima, his mother, never left the house to do any kind of paid work. Their firstborn son, he was the oldest of his family. They have two younger brothers, Ibrahimkutty and Zakariah, and three younger sisters, Ameena, Sauda, and Shafina.
He wed Sulfath in 1979, and by 1982, the couple had had a son, Dulquer Salmaan, and a daughter, Surumi. (born 1986). His family now calls the Ernakulam neighbourhood of Kochi home. Ibrahimkutty, his younger brother, is a well-known actor in Malayalam media. Maqbool Salmaan, Ibrahimkutty’s son, is also a talented performer.
Mammootty Career
As seen in K. Balachander’s Anubhavangal Paalichakal (1971). Mammootty first appeared on screen in a supporting role in S. Sethumadhavan. The Malayalam film Kaalachakram, directed by K.
